WHERE'S MY BEARD?

  JACK OUTJULY 21, 2008

            WATCH JACK HERE!

Hey you! Make sure to come back a lot. Like every other day maybe. Add it to your bookmarks, baby. I'm gonna post some art up in the next couple days and I'ma post up a few pics of Comic Con when I get back. :)

I didn't know it was gonna happen, but this is probably my favorite shot of the whole animation.

  GETTING THERE!JULY 13, 2008
Bluh bluh bluh bluh bluh, buh. Staying up through the night always invites unpleasant and unnecessary thoughts into my head. I don't know if everybody's like that or just me. I just want to animate. I'm an animating fool, if you want to know the truth. I bend over when I'm drawing the frames and I usually have my nose within about an inch and a half of the screen. When I go on my eight hour animating sprees and I stand up inbetween I feel 100 pounds heavier and my back feels like it was kicked by a horse.

Such is the price of art! Speaking of which, have you seen Matt Damon? He's put on considerable weight for his new role in some movie. Google Image that crap.

My promise for Jack a little after July 4th is taking longer than I'd hoped, as all animations do. ALL OF THEM. I know it'll be out by July 23rd, because that's when I'm leaving for Comic Con. Hell, I've been setting deadlines for Jack since freshman year of high school. In interesting news, I've decided to take on about 12 projects at once as soon as I'm done with Jack Ep. 1. Two of em are gonna be comic books! I'm a comic book fan, if you didn't know.

Here's another screenshot of Jack, albeit a moderately uninteresting one.

'Pull out yer greenades, folks! Why don't any of us have eyes?'

Expect these silly soldiers to be gracing your Flash player in about a week. (I'm serious, on this one.)

  OPENING!JUNE 27, 2008
Today marks the beginning of a new era. Or at least I hope so. My name is Zack Hicks, and this is my temporary site, soon to be filled with animations, games, media, art, information, chicken, dumplings, and other sweet stuff.

I recently made a game called GearUP. The game is strangly out of my own real style, and yet corresponding at the same time. I completed it in 3 hard weeks. I would never say it's my best, but damn if it ain't fun. It can really be everyone's cup of tea. You can play it here.

I have at least 2 new projects. They will tickle your fancy. This is about a little animation called Jack McHavoc : Episode 1.

This man appears to be damaged.

Look at that sunset. Front and center, soldier. What's the hold up?

Feel the burn. No pain, no gain. Remember that.

Look at this man's nose.

Where did it go?

It's like shooting monkeys in a barrel.

But who is this elusive Jack person? What color is his hair - blonde, brown, purple maybe? Do we ever see his eyes? And why the senseless violence? The world may never know, but you can at least view this upcoming animation a little after July 4th.
